What you'll need...

  • You must not be an overseas national or subject to employment restrictions
  • Must have left full-time education
  • Must not have completed a similar qualification at the same level or above

Application Process

  • Online application: This is your chance to shine! Make sure you answer all the questions and provide as much information as possible. Once you’ve submitted your application, our recruitment team will review your answers. If you’re successful at this stage, you’ll progress to the next stage of the process.
  • Individual or group assessment: You’ll complete an assessment or interview with an Area Manager at a local store.  You’ll be asked some questions about yourself and the role you’re applying for – some of which might be based on a scenario. If you’re successful at this stage, you’ll progress to the final stage of the process.
  • Aldi store experience: Following a successful interview, you’ll be invited to spend some time in a store so you can see first-hand the types of tasks you’d be expected to complete. Feel free to ask any questions you might have as we want to make sure the role is the right fit for you and us. If everything goes well, you’ll be offered a job as an apprentice!
